BumGenius BIG
BumGenius Big fits older toddlers and children 35-70 lbs, so the cover the age range at which standard reusable nappies are outgrown.
The BumGenius BIG is basically a BumGenius V5 cover (without inserts) in a super-large size. Ideal for older children who are still wet at night as well as children with special needs.
They are made with soft stay-dry lining that wicks moisture away from skin. Gentle leg elastic and waterproof outer cover prevent leaks.
They are fastened with poppers - this makes it easier to adjust the sizing for a good fit (compared to Bedtime Pants) but it does mean that they won't work well as 'Pull-Up' pants. Childen can often pull them down (for the dash to the toilet) but will struggle to pull them up again without the poppers undoing.
NB - these nappies come WITHOUT inserts so you can decide which inserts to use.
You can stuff any insert inside the pocket to customize absorbency. The following inserts are just some of those that work with these nappies (with most you'll need to double-up ot give sufficient absorbency). In order of increasing absorbency you can use:
- FLIP daytime organic inserts
- FLIP night time organic inserts
- Baba&Boo bamboo booster pads - better absorbency for night times
- 50 x 50 bamboo squares
